On May 2, 2025, siblings Lilly Sullivan (6) and Jack Sullivan (4) were reported missing from their rural home on Gairloch Road in Lansdowne Station, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. Despite an immediate and extensive search involving the RCMP, search and rescue teams, volunteers, drones, and police dogs, no trace of the children was found.
